Yep, really helpful video. Further tip, if you have managed to locate the sprung bar and pushed it up and the airbag doesn't pop out, grab your bog-standard (I know, I know) toilet plunger and use that to create some suction and you should find the airbag unit will lift out.

Thanks for the video, I bought an almost identical unit from Amazon but made by Ninetom. Same box and everything. Especially helped in where to put my WiFi antenna under the passenger side trim in my 2016 Audi S5. Have you had any issues with it since installation? I didn't bother installing the usb cable. Only issue I had was removing the cheap Ali Express radio removal keys afterwards.

Thanks so much for your video. I installed this recently but the problem is car play looses bluetooth pairing every time I exit the car. When I enter the car, it doesn't automatically connect to my phone and I have to manually disconnect , forget the device and pair again to connect the carplay. Do you know what can be the problem ?

Buongiorno, ho preso lo stesso identico car play per la mia Audi ma ho avuto la spiacevole sorpresa di non riuscire dopo vari tentativi a connettere lo smartphone huawei mate 20 pro! O meglio, si connette tramite Bluetooth ma nn fà altro, avete suggerimenti grazie.

for the ‘USB-AV CABLE’ do i have to connect it anywhere else besides connecting it too the black box ? do i have to mess with the colored wires or anything ? what did you do with the USB-AV cable , please 😭

Does the system use the original microphone of the car in the calls through the Carplay module? Is the connection with the iPhone wireless? Im thinking to buy this module for my audio a1 and I'm comparing the different brands and models. Once you have been using it, do you still recommend it? Thanks

It is a nice upgrade for Audi A4/A5/Q5. The multimedia system on previous generations of these cars is very outdated. Not being able to play music via bluetooth is just outrageous.

Great video thanks! I am about to fit a similar Sony unit in my 987.2 which also has the CDR30. I have purchased the Incartec kit that you have too. Did you have to swap the red and yellow leads over ( constant and switched) or are they ok 'out of the box' ? I don't have steering wheel control either so assume like you I don't need the Universal Patch lead. Regards

That's a great set up you got there mate, made a good job of it. Sure the AV setup sounds great , I got a 7.1 set up at home , although I'm not aloud to have it at thx ref level ! That screen and projector looks the business, great job mate ! 👍

What have you got your Ethernet splitter to ? To get a connection from your router that is in the house?
